BEN ALLEN – OWNER – REGISTERED MAINE GUIDE

BEN ALLEN – OWNER – REGISTERED MAINE GUIDE

Epic Adventures LLC. was founded over a decade ago by Brian Donaghy and is now owned and operated by Registered Maine Guide Ben Allen. Maine moose hunting has been a passion of Ben’s ever since he went on his first moose hunt as a boy. Ben joined his father and grandfather on that first family moose hunt and the memory is still vivid to this day. It was that hunt that ignited a lifelong desire in Ben, to accumulate the woodsman skills necessary to become a successful moose hunter, big woods deer hunter, and a Registered Maine Guide. After ending his military service, Ben was able to carry on his passion for moose hunting and has participated in the Maine moose hunt each year since. When not guiding, Ben has worked as a logger and is an avid hunter and fisherman spending countless hours in the forests of Maine. He enjoys involving his family in all his outdoor adventures including the guide business. His wife Jaime plays an integral part in the bookkeeping and food preparation for Epic Adventures. His daughters love the scouting trips and even help in getting camp set up. His dream has always been to share his love of the Maine woods with others.

Rich Pschirrer - Registered Maine Guide

Rich first came to Maine during high school and fell in love with the woods and waters of Maine. After graduating from the University of Maine, Rich spent 23 years in the outdoor industry with LL Bean and Cabela’s. Rich retired from Cabela’s in 2020 and turned to his lifelong dream of guiding fly fishermen and hunters into a reality, starting Up-n-at-em Guide Service. Rich’s success with moose began when he drew his first bull tag in 1999 when he harvested a 50” bull that came to his call. As luck would have it, Rich drew a second Maine moose tag in 2012 and he harvested a 56” bull with his muzzleloader.

Rich lives in New Gloucester, Maine with his many bird dogs. He is an active board member of Maine Operation Game Thief, A Wilderness First Responder, a licensed Coast Guard Captain, a Maine Association of Charter Boat Captains member, an LL Bean Outdoor Discovery School instructor.
